Members shall reside in Wake County area, including Cary, Apex, Holly Springs and Morrisville. Like all NCL, Inc. Chapters, Carolina Lily aims to foster the mother-daughter relationship by serving its communities together. The Carolina Lily Chapter serves philanthropies in the Triangle area. We are committed to empowering our members to make a significant impact in our local community and in the lives of our members. Through meetings, leadership, and service opportunities, our mothers (called Patronesses) and daughters in grades 7-12 (called Ticktockers) become strong leaders and generous philanthropists. NCL, Inc is a 100% volunteer organization. Membership in the Carolina Lily Chapter requires a commitment of time and service and carries a financial responsibility as well. All Patronesses hold a chapter job each year and actively participate as leaders in the operational success of the chapter. Each Ticktocker grade level has its own board of elected Ticktocker officers. Each Ticktocker has a job that changes annually to allow for skill growth. Ticktocker classes are coached by Patronesses acting as Grade Level Advisors. Ticktockers follow a 6-year core program called the NCL Experience. This experience promotes Personal Development (life skills), Leadership Development (professional skills), Cultural Competency (social skills), and Community Service (philanthropic awareness). The value of membership in the Carolina Lily Chapter lasts a lifetime. The NCL Experience uniquely draws mothers and daughters together to focus their minds, hearts, and talents toward creating a positive change in their communities and the nation. Our goal is to develop civic awareness and responsibility as well as leadership in our daughters. Join Our Chapter Interested in joining our chapter?
